The Gauteng Health Department encourages parents and guardians to take advantage of the school holidays by taking their sons for Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) at their nearest public health facility.

Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision has important health benefits, including reducing the risk of HIV infection and certain sexually transmitted infections, and promoting better long-term health outcomes for men and boys.

Here is a list of available VMMC sites.
