Over the past two weeks, our junior and senior chess players have been hard at work, putting their skills, strategy and concentration to the test! ♟️🧠
Our learners had the opportunity to play some exciting matches against Holy Cross Primary School George and Curro George. We would like to thank both schools for hosting us and for providing our learners with such wonderful opportunities to learn, compete and grow. 🤝
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our chess players! Your dedication, sportsmanship and determination make us so proud. Keep thinking ahead, making those clever moves and most importantly, enjoying the game! 💪♟️❤️

Our staff enjoyed an amazing training session with Therapy Connect Western Cape. A heartfelt thank you to Kate and Natalie wonderful for sharing their knowledge and expertise with us!

A huge thank you to Coach Chantell for treating us to a fun-filled afternoon at HopHouse. There was plenty of bouncing, laughter and perhaps a few staff members discovering muscles they didn’t know they had! 😂

📚✨ Study Skills Workshop Success! 🧠

Our Grade 4–6 learners had a wonderful and productive time at our Study Skills Workshop! They learned valuable study techniques and practical strategies to help them prepare more effectively for tests and exams. 📖💡

The workshop was presented by Sanet from IlluminatedGrowth, and we are grateful for the engaging and informative session she shared with our learners. 🌟

A big part of successful learning is taking care of our minds and bodies too, so the learners also enjoyed a few fun brain breaks and stretching sessions throughout the workshop. 😄🧘‍♀️

We are incredibly proud of their enthusiasm, participation, and willingness to learn. Well done to all our learners—we hope these new skills will help them feel confident and prepared as they continue their learning journey! 📚✨

🏑 Hockey Match vs Laerskool Buffeljagsrivier 🏑

Our U/13 hockey team took to the field with determination and great team spirit as they faced Laerskool Buffeljagsrivier. The learners gave their all, showed excellent sportsmanship, and represented Country House School with pride.
Well done to every player for your hard work, commitment, and positive attitude throughout the match. We are proud of each one of you and look forward to watching you continue to grow and enjoy the game.
