Glenwood House School

Cuemi Ying-er Tsai represented Team South Africa at the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) 2026, held in Las Vegas from 12–23 July 2026. WCOPA is often referred to as the “Olympics of the Performing Arts”, with participants from more than 70 countries.

Cuemi achieved the following awards:

1. Vocal World Music – Silver Medal
2. Vocal Self-Accompaniment – Bronze Medal

We are very proud of her achievement, especially because she had the opportunity to represent South Africa, George, and her school on an international stage.

Congratulations to Jean-Gabriel de Villiers, who has officially qualified and earned his place in the Eden Kickboxing Team!

Jean-Gabriel will proudly represent Eden at the Western Cape Kickboxing Championships in Cape Town this October.

We are incredibly proud of this fantastic achievement and wish him every success as he prepares to compete! 💪

SA HIGH SCHOOL GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS

After winning the Regional Qualifier earlier this year, our four Glenwood House golfers earned the opportunity to represent GWH at the SA High School Golf Championships.

Our young team finished in a very respectable 18th place overall after taking on a tight and demanding course with particularly challenging greens.

Beyond the result, this was an invaluable experience for our players. They learned a great deal, gained valuable tournament experience and continue to grow and develop as golfers. We are proud of the way they represented GWH both on and off the course.

Our new EGD drawing tables have arrived, and they look fantastic!

These purpose-built tables provide our students with a far better working surface, helping to improve accuracy, neatness and the overall quality of their technical drawings. The new setup has also transformed the classroom, creating a more spacious and comfortable environment with plenty of room to work.
