SAVE THIS!

Choosing a flight school is a bigger decision than comparing hourly rates.

Flight time. Aircraft availability. Total cost. Training environment. Student results. Support.

These are the questions that can shape your entire aviation journey.

So before you choose a school, ask better questions.

Save this post and use it as your checklist when comparing flight schools.
And send it to someone who’s serious about becoming a pilot.

At AIFA, we believe future aviators should know what to look for before they commit.

2027 applications are now open.
Train in George, South Africa. International students welcome.

What can two high schoolers with zero flying experience actually do after a week at a flight school?

Watch this one till the end. 😳

Our AIFA instructor guided two York High students through a week of shadowing and a hands-on sim session — and the result speaks for itself.

Part 2 coming later this week ✈️

Five months ago it was 5am alarms, failed mock exams, and evenings lost to nav diagrams.

Every early morning, every missed evening, every "wrong answer" on a practice exam — it all led to this. His father was there to watch it happen. His AIFA family was there too, just as proud.

This is what it looks like when the grind actually pays off.

Congratulations, Captain. Wings earned. ✈️🕊️

Talent might get you started—but discipline is what carries you through.

Early mornings. Focused classrooms. Repetition, consistency, and attention to detail. These are the moments that shape pilots long before they ever take full control of an aircraft.

Aviation demands more than passion—it requires a mindset built on precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The habits you build on the ground are the ones you rely on in the air.
