Our Grade 1 learners let their imaginations run wild as they created crazy creatures with play dough! 🌈👐

From colourful monsters to funny little animals, their creativity was on full display! What a fun way to develop fine-motor skills while encouraging imagination, creativity and confidence. 💕🌟

We absolutely love seeing what our little learners can create! 🥰

Wat 'n prettige manier om fyn motoriese vaardighede te ontwikkel terwyl verbeelding, kreatiwiteit en selfvertroue terselfdertyd aangemoedig word.

Ons is absoluut mal daaroor om te sien wat ons klein leerders kan skep!🥰

Vandag vier ons Nasionale Afrikaanse Taaldag!

Ons vier dat Afrikaans 'n unieke en spesiale taal is wat hier in Afrika gebore is.

Dit is een van die jongste tale in die hele wêreld, gevul met woorde waarin jy kan sing, lag en droom.

Maar die beste deel van Afrikaans is dat dit ons almal in Suid-Afrika soos 'n groot familie aan mekaar verbind.

Afrikaans het die lekkerste woorde! D**k maar aan trapsuutjies, wolkekrabber of klimtol.

Omdat ons land 12 amptelike tale het, help Afrikaans ons ook om maats te wees met met mense wat ander tale praat.

Of Afrikaans jou huistaal is of een wat jy op skool leer, mag jy vandag hardop sê: "Afrikaans is sommer baie lekker!"

We are delighted to welcome André Borrett to Gracehill College as our new Soccer Coach! ⚽🎉

André brings with him decades of football experience and, even more importantly, a heart for God and for young people.

A believer since 1979, André began playing football in the 1980s at Kempton Park F.C. His playing career later took him to Corinthian F.C. and Highland Park, where he continued playing until 2021 at the age of 58. ⚽👏

Today, André is the Senior Coach at Van Kervel School in George and coaches the LSEN Eden Schools football side. Last year, he had the privilege of travelling with the Eden football team to Cape Town to compete at the National Championships.

But for André, football is about so much more than the game.

❤️ “Football is a door and an instrument to bring the Gospel into places where one would normally not have access.”

Over the past four years, André has seen football become a powerful way to reach young lives and share the love of Christ.

We are so excited to have him join the Gracehill family and look forward to seeing the impact he will make—both on the field and in the lives of our learners. 🙏⚽
