What a culmination of a fantastic dance year, having had the opportunity to work so closely with Hayley on a weekly basis throughout the year as our studio’s specialist Technical Coach.

We absolutely value our close relationship with the Beverley Hammond Studios - not only because of their technical expertise and experience, but also because of how on top they are of current trends and developments in the Competitive Ballroom & Latin dance world. With Hayley’s regular and continuous international travel through invitations to judge and teach abroad and Darren’s international dance career, which naturally keeps him right “in the eye of the storm”, so to speak, we always feel like we’re a part of a living l, organic process of learning instead of just being fed the usual technical retoric from a manual. In addition, the general no-nonsense, down-to-earth modus operandi that characterizes Hayley’s way of working and that seems to constitute the general “frequency” in these studios just make it a pleasure to be able to stop by whenever we can!

Thank you for everything, Beveryley, Hayley and the team. We adore you and we really appreciate being made to feel like a part of your family whenever we are in Pretoria. 💐🫶

Last week’s tour to attend the SADTA South African Chanpionships in Johannesburg took us right across the country. Having the privilege to spend some unscheduled time with these wonderful kids once again reminded me how much more important the journey can be than the destination.
