Back to school and also back to football. Our U17 boys had a league game and they came out 2-0 winners. Siyo scored a potential goal of the year with a 35 yard volley 🔥💪

Well done boys!

Last week, we celebrated some of our final-year students as they prepare to begin their end-of-school exams next month. 🎓
It has been amazing watching you all grow over the past five years. We are so proud of the young men and women you have become, and we can’t wait to see all that you achieve.

Now it’s time to hit the books and give it your all! 😉📚

We’re cheering you on every step of the way. ❤️

💙 SERVE DAY 2026 💙
Today, some of our pupils had the opportunity to serve across different locations, using their unique skills, talents, and abilities to give back to the communities they call home.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them for making a difference and showing that even small acts of service can have a meaningful impact. 💙

Academy Cup Selections 2026 ✅

A huge well done to everyone who took part in this year’s trials! 👏🏼 We loved seeing so much talent, effort and determination throughout the process.

We can’t wait to welcome our new Grade 8 intake to the school in 2027! ❤️

🚤 Learning by doing! 🚤

Last week, our Grade 10s explored assembly diagrams in the most hands-on way possible — by folding origami boats and assembling Kinder Egg toys! 🛠️📋

A little creativity, a little problem-solving, and plenty of fun… and of course, the chocolate at the end was the icing on the cake! 🍫😄

Learning really is better when you can build it yourself! 💙

🏆 Academy Cup Trials! ⚽️🏐

Yesterday we hosted our annual Academy Cup Trials, as we began selecting the pupils who could make up next year’s Grade 8 intake at George Royal Academy.

There was some fantastic football and netball talent on display, and we loved seeing so many young players giving it their all! 🔥

👏 Congratulations to Tabata Primary School, winners of the Netball Tournament, and M.M. Mateza Primary School, winners of the Football Tournament! 🏆❤️

The future is looking bright! 🌟
