🚨 CANDIDATES — DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU REGISTER.

Not every advertisement tells you the complete story.

Before paying any training provider, ask questions.

✅ Is the training provider legitimately registered or accredited for what they are offering?
✅ Who is the relevant accreditation or quality-assurance body?
✅ What exactly is included in the advertised price?
✅ Are assessments included?
✅ Are practical assignments or practical assessments required?
✅ Are moderation, certification or Statement of Results processes explained upfront?
✅ Are there additional fees later in the programme?
✅ Does completing the course actually satisfy the requirements for the registration you are pursuing?

Don't discover halfway through your journey that the "course" you registered for was only one part of a much bigger process.

A cheap registration can become very expensive when important requirements were never disclosed from the start.

Yesterday South Africa celebrated Women’s Day 🇿🇦🌸

Today, before another busy week gets underway, we want to honour the incredible women who play such an important role in our homes, our businesses and our electrical industry.

👷‍♀️ To the female electricians, apprentices, technicians, engineers, trainers, administrators and business owners making their mark in our industry — we see you, we respect you and we celebrate you.

But today we also want to recognise the women whose contribution often happens quietly behind the scenes. ❤️

The wife who keeps things going while you are working late.

The mother who supported you through your studies and qualifications.

The partner who listens when business is tough.

The woman who gets the children ready while you are already on your way to site.

The daughter, sister, colleague or friend who encourages you when you need it most.

They may never wear safety boots, hold a multimeter or sign a Certificate of Compliance…

…but they are very much part of the journey. 🙏

📖 “Honour her for all that her hands have done.” — Proverbs 31:31

As electricians, we spend our lives making sure buildings have a reliable supply…

Sometimes we forget about the people who have been supplying us with strength all along. ⚡❤️

And here is another important reminder:

Providing for your family is important — but being present for them matters too.

Put the phone down sometimes.
Leave the quotation until tomorrow.
Spend time with the people God has placed in your life.

This week, take a moment and simply tell one of those women:

❤️ “Thank you. I see what you do, and I appreciate you.”

Not because Women’s Day tells us to…

But because appreciation should never require a calendar reminder.

🌸 To the women beside us, ahead of us and behind us — we honour you.

🙏 May God bless and strengthen every woman who plays a part in our homes, our industry and our lives.

This Women’s Day, TDMI Training celebrates the women who are stepping forward, learning, qualifying and building their place in South Africa’s electrical industry. 👩‍🔧💪

For many years, the electrical trade has been seen as a male-dominated environment — but that picture is changing.

⚡👷‍♀️ WOMEN’S DAY | THERE IS SPACE FOR YOU IN THE ELECTRICAL INDUSTRY 👷‍♀️⚡

For many years, the electrical industry has been seen as a predominantly male environment — but that is changing.

Women are increasingly finding opportunities in electrical installation, testing, compliance, solar PV, battery systems, automation, technical training, project management and even business ownership.

And yes, the work can be demanding. There are hot roof spaces, ladders, tools, construction sites, physical work and a great deal of responsibility involved.

But being an excellent electrician has never only been about physical strength.

It is about knowledge, skill, discipline, workmanship, problem-solving and the willingness to keep learning. 💡

This Women’s Day, we also share the journey of Milla, selected through our “1 Opportunity, 1 Life Changed” initiative — demonstrating what can happen when opportunity meets determination.

Our message to every woman who has looked at our industry and thought:
