🌧️ *SCHOOL CLOSURE DUE TO HEAVY RAINFALL – 3 & 4 JUNE 2026:* 🌧️

❗ Schools in the Eden and Central Karoo Education District will be *closed on Wednesday, 3 June 2026, and Thursday, 4 June 2026*.

✉️ The affected schools have received official notice of the closure from the Head of Department, and will *communicate with parents*.

🏫 *All other schools in the Western Cape will be open* unless approval has been granted for closure, which will be done on a case-by-case basis.

🌤️ We will continuously *monitor and evaluate* the situation to ensure that schools can reopen as soon as possible, which is expected to be on Friday, 5 June 2026.

Weekly Service

Our choir represented us very well in the SASCE competition that was held at Jonga High School.

Imizamo Yethu Secondary School would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Fillupistraato for the incredible support, planning, coordination, and logistical assistance provided during our Sports Fundraising Event.

Your contribution played a major role in making this event a success. We also appreciate the effort you put into promoting the event online and assisting us in visiting different schools, including Jonga High School, to help build support and awareness for the event.
