The intention is to create a space for parents to share their thoughts as well as hear some of the insights gained by the school's founders through their research and experience.

INTRODUCING MRS SKEAD | FOUNDER & GR 2&3 TEACHER ✏️

Mrs Skead founded Gardens Nook Pre-School before going on to pioneer Three Peaks School.
This is why she did it and why she continues to teach here:

“When looking for a Pre-School for our four year old daughter, I yearned for a gentle home environment that welcomed the weaknesses and strengths that I knew to be true of my child. A place that would warmly embrace and nurture her person as well as partner with me in this daunting yet exciting journey of parenting. It was in this search that I came across Charlotte Mason and her philosophy of education that seemed to resonate with all that I had hoped a school to be. With a desire to see this form of education in action and have it accessible to many more families, Gardens Nook Pre-School was born.

DOES MY CHILD NEED A CHRISTIAN EDUCATION?
Join us as we engage with the idea of what actually constitutes Christian education and its importance for parents and churches as we think about the task of discipleship in the lives of our children in the present culture.

As parents, it can often feel like there are more questions than answers when it comes to helping our children engage with a world that increasingly feels like it is starting from a different set of ideas in determining what is good, beautiful and true.

Believing that we need a space to engage carefully, thoughtfully and biblically with these questions, we’ve decided to launch a forum that will serve the home and church, dedicated to thinking through what it means to disciple children in an increasingly secular context. We hope this will be the first of more helpful events like this.

The evening will consist of a presentation and a time of participatory Q&A around the ideas raised.
