You can now do on online training in two online courses, a Level 1 and 2 courses in the privacy of your own space via internet. Training hours of your choice in the privacy of your office or home.
The courses are developed and presented by Dr. Hannie Schoeman. (PhD) a registered social worker and specialist in working with children in distress. This training is developed as a result of 40 years of experience in working within the field of child based interventions. The Gestalt Approach forms the underlying foundation of our play intervention training programmes.
The Gestalt approach with its strong emphasis on bringing the child into awareness of his situation, empowers the child most successfully to understand his situation, accepting and building a new awareness and to change his behaviour accordingly. See more information on the following website
The Centre for Play Therapy and Training focusses on the training of Social Workers, Psychologists, Counsellors. Educationalists and Occupational Therapists working with children that are referred to them for assistance, intervention and therapy.
