NTT Toyota Potties - The Challenge Is On!!!🔥

NTT Toyota Mokopane, we're challenging YOU!👀

Tadpole Academy Primary and Lilly Joy have joined hands for our Orphanage Outreach Programme, and we're calling on businesses across Mokopane to help us make a difference in the lives of children in need.🩷

Today, the challenge goes to NTT Toyota Mokopane:

Will you accept the challenge and make a donation at our official drop-off point?

We are collecting non-perishable food, clothing, toiletries and other essential items to support children at an orphanage.

It's not about how big the donation is. It's about showing up, giving what you can, and making a difference.🩷

NTT Toyota Mokopane - the challenge is officially on you!🔥

Will you accept?🤔

And once you do... we'll be challenging another Mokopane business to step up!👀

Today, our hearts are full ❤️

Our school had the privilege of visiting the SPCA to deliver donations collected with the kindness and generosity of our learners, staff, and families.

This initiative was more than just giving—it was a meaningful lesson in compassion, responsibility, and the importance of caring for those who cannot speak for themselves.

We are incredibly proud of everyone who contributed, whether through donations or support. Every item will go a long way in helping provide comfort and care to animals in need.

A special thank you to the SPCA team for the incredible work they do every day. Your dedication truly makes a difference.

Please take a moment to look through the photos from our visit—each one captures the spirit of giving and the joy of making a positive impact together.

Together, we are making a difference. 🐾

🌞 Brightside Monday! 🌞

We’re rolling into the week with laughter — because nothing beats a good giggle to start your Monday right! 😄

Today’s hilarious joke comes from Lifa in Grade 7:
🗣️ “What do you call a baby born in a car?”

🚗👶💨 “Car-born-dioxide!” 😂😂

Looks like Lifa is driving us straight into a laughing lane!
Thanks for the laughs, Lifa — you’ve definitely fueled our Monday mood! 💛✨

🎉 Fun Fact Friday! 🎉

Did you know that octopuses have three hearts? 🐙💓💓💓
Two of the hearts pump blood to the gills, while the third pumps it to the rest of the body. And here’s the really fun part — when an octopus swims, that third heart actually takes a break! 😄

Looks like even sea creatures know the importance of some rest and relaxation! 🌊

🕰️ Vintage Day Throwback! 👒🎩

Today our learners took a stylish trip back in time! ✨ Dressed in classic vintage outfits, they brought the spirit of Sophiatown alive — celebrating the music, fashion, and vibrant culture of the past. 💃🕺

It’s more than just dressing up — it’s about remembering and honouring the elders who lived through the golden age of Sophiatown, a time rich with creativity, unity, and pride. ❤️

Swipe through to see our learners rocking their old-school cool! 📸

🌪️ Wacky Wednesday Question! 🌪️

Today’s hilarious question comes from Vuthu in Grade 5 🤣💭

🗣️ “When you fart, your fart leaves your body... so does that mean when you smell it, your fart went back into your body?” 💨😆

We can’t stop laughing at this one! What do you think, everyone — is Vuthu onto something here? 🤔😂

🌟 Fun Fact Friday! 🌟

Did you know that honey never spoils? 🍯
Archaeologists have found pots of honey in ancient Egyptian tombs that are over 3,000 years old — and still perfectly edible!

That’s because honey’s natural composition makes it nearly impossible for bacteria or microorganisms to grow. So the next time you drizzle honey on your toast, you’re enjoying one of nature’s most amazing preservatives. 💛

🐝 Sweet, right? Share this fun fact with a friend who loves honey!

🌟 Wacky Question Wednesday 🌟
Brought to you by the curious minds of Tadpole Academy!

Today’s question comes from Omagau, a bright Grade 6 learner, who had us all thinking and laughing at the same time! 😄🎓

💬 “Since people like saying that cooking is a woman's job… then why is it called CooKing and not CooQueen?” 👑🍳

Now THAT’S food for thought! 🧠🔥
Omagau just stirred the pot with this one — literally and figuratively! 😆

At Tadpole Academy, we love how our learners question the world around them and challenge old ideas. After all, whether you're a king or a queen in the kitchen — everyone can cook!

👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 What's your answer to Omagau’s question?
