🎶 Learning, moving and growing through music! 🎶

We are so excited to share a little glimpse into our Clever with Music programme at Thorntree, for ages 3-5 years! 🌱💛

For the past two years, our little learners have been enjoying this wonderful educational programme, where music and movement come together to support whole-child development.

Through singing, rhythm, movement and playful musical activities, children are given opportunities to develop important skills such as coordination, listening and concentration, language, body awareness, memory and social interaction, all while having FUN! 🥁🎵💃

We love seeing how engaged our children become during these lessons and how naturally learning takes place when little bodies are given the opportunity to move, explore, listen and create.

WE STAND AGAINST GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE 🖤

Today, members of our Thorntree community took a stand.
Our Grade 10 learners and teachers wore black and ran together in solidarity against gender-based violence, using every step as a symbol of remembrance, awareness and support for those affected.

Gender-based violence continues to affect far too many women and families within our communities. No woman should have to live in fear, at home, at work, at school, in a relationship, while exercising, walking alone or simply going about everyday life.

At Thorntree, we believe that creating a safer society begins with awareness, respect and the courage to speak up against violence.

Today was more than a run. It was a moment to stand together, to remember lives lost, to support survivors and to reinforce the message that gender-based violence should never be accepted as normal.
Every step carried a message. 🖤

We stand together.
We stand in solidarity.
We stand against gender-based violence.
