Gratitude fills my heart🙏.

What a remarkable way to conclude my keynote address calendar this year! I had the incredible honor of delivering a keynote speech Junior Campus, Mokopane, during our graduation and Award giving ceremony for our 2024 Graduates and Award winners. The event marked a significant milestone as these brilliant young graduates prepare to embark on their journey into Grade One, the beginning of their primary school education.

It was truly an honour and blessing sharing my insights on how we can nurture and mold "winning children" . I emphasized the importance of positive parenting and in motivating our children through recognition of the good they do. Focusing on their "wins" gives them magical positive feelings, which germinate traits of motivation, hope, perseverance, safety and the urge to independently push for greatness each moment. Focusing on their failures, wrong doings or ill behaviours often trigger meltdowns, resistance to joining in activities that have unpredictable outcomes and eventually low performance and worsened ill behaviours. As adults and parents, we therefore need to understand the significance of winning or losing to young children as well as the role we play to determine their social, emotional, behavioral and academic success.

My heartfelt gratitude is extended to my husband, "sir Kubs", the EJC team, EJC Champs, EJC parents, Hoërskool Piet port, Thorntree Prep school, Bank store and my sons🙏.

Lord, I am so grateful for yet another beautiful experience and Your midst throughout the year. Thank you for this amazing opportunity to contribute to the future of these children.
