We had a beautiful Heritage month celebration with our "Big" Classes (4 to 6yr).

FEEDING OUR COMMUNITY

Diepsloot Loving and Care Centre, was first started as a care center for Abused women and children, Homeless teenagers and Support for HIV affected* in 2001.

The Founder Mme Keneilwe Pitse saw a need in her community and closed the gap. She started by funding it through her children and later converted it to focus on Child Day Care only.

We currently have 15 non paying kids, which we have paused due to lack of funds to pay wages, we are trying to get means of feeding them or getting them back full-time into the Day Care.

We have started going back to meet the needs of our community and yesterday was the first day of the re-invention, starting with a feeding opportunity.

Please send us an email at [email protected] if you are interested to adopt(sponsor) 1 of the children with R270 monthly fee or partner with our feeding project.

Class of 2020 Graduation celebration.
It was a tough year, loss of jobs, income and lives.
Therefore our children were celebrated by exploring the world outside their comfort zone as they never had an opportunity for educational trips.

Our goal at Diepsloot Loving & Care is to prepare children for the next stage of their lives through the development of motor abilities, thinking skills and healthy interactions with their peers, guiding each child to explore the world around them.

All children must be given equal opportunities to be children, and exposed to other environments to appreciate own culture and respect and learn about diverse cultures.

What a great day we had at our graduation ceremony yesterday.
