🎭 Senior Eisteddfod 🚌

On 20 August, our Grade 6 and 7 learners headed to Port Alfred to take part in the Eisteddfod at The King's School — showcasing their talent, confidence and creativity on stage. 🌟

The day wouldn't be complete without a stop at the famous Big Pineapple in Bathurst 🍍, where the giggles and photos were just as memorable as the performances!

We are so proud of every learner who took part. Well done! 💚❤️

📐 Building Mathematicians, One Straw at a Time! 📐

As part of our Term 3 Maths curriculum, our Grade 6 class tackled 3D Objects the hands-on way — using nothing but straws, string, and a lot of patience! 🧵

Building 3D objects isn't as easy as it looks, and our learners quickly discovered that teamwork and perseverance were just as important as the Maths itself.

Congratulations to every group who kept at it and completed their structures! 🌟

🏐 Netball Festival Fun! 🏐

Last Wednesday our U7, U8 and U9 netball girls headed off to the PEP Mini Netball Festival, at Adelaide Primary School! 💚❤️

A huge thank you to PEP for going above and beyond to organise such a well-run and fun-filled day for our young netball stars. The girls had an absolute blast! 🌟

Well done to all our little netball players – you make FBPS proud! 👏

🏉🏐 FORT BEAUFORT PRIMARY SCHOOL SPORTS TOUR 2026 🏐🏉

What an incredible few days! 🤩 From 20–22 August, our learners had the wonderful opportunity to travel, compete, learn and create memories that they will treasure for years to come. ❤️💚

📅 THURSDAY | 20 AUGUST

We travelled to Gqeberha and started our tour with matches against Walmer West. Despite the long journey, all our rugby and netball teams performed exceptionally well and showed great determination, energy and sportsmanship. 🏉🏐💪

📅 FRIDAY | 21 AUGUST

Our learners had an amazing experience at African Dawn Wildlife Sanctuary, where they had the opportunity to see and learn more about wildlife. 🦁🦓🐘 It was certainly a highlight for many of them!

We then made our way to Grey High School, where our rugby and netball teams were fortunate enough to receive coaching from experienced coaches from the Mighty Kings Academy and Netball Divas. 🏉🏐👏

We ended the day with some well-deserved fun at the beach, followed by supper at Spur. 🌊🍔😁

📅 SATURDAY | 22 AUGUST

Our final day took us to Humansdorp, where all our teams competed at the Stulting Primary School Sports Day.

Although the wind made conditions challenging, our learners never gave up! 💪 They gave their absolute best against a variety of teams and represented Fort Beaufort Primary School with pride, determination and excellent sportsmanship. ❤️💚

⚽ HISTORY MADE AT FBPS! ⚽

On Friday, 21 August, our U/10 and U/13 boys took to the field for a friendly soccer match against Hertzog Primary School — and what a special occasion it was! This marked the very first soccer match ever played on our own school field! 🥳🔴🟢

A huge well done to all our players for representing FBPS with pride, and a big thank you to Hertzog Primary School for sharing this milestone moment with us.
