Saying "Thank You" just doesnt seem enough. When you refer someone to us, it truly means so much more than just gaining a new client.

It means you value us and what we do, and shows us how invested you are in your child and yourself... 💕

Kids gone CRAZY?? 🌋💣🌪️ Try this quick fix activity that will turn the crazy to calm in minutes...

Pop them down in front of a bowl of rice, give them a few containers and spoons and watch the magic! 😉

Just before we did this activity in class this week, these little guys were very energetic and doing what toddlers do best. Then came silence... 🤣 Enjoy!

Many parents believe they need expensive toys and equipment to support their child’s development.
The truth is that some of the best learning opportunities come from everyday items already found around the home.🏡

Plastic containers become posting activities. Pegs strengthen little fingers. Cardboard boxes become houses and rockets. Wooden spoons become musical instruments and scarves become tools for movement, sensory play and imagination.

At Toptots, we love showing parents how simple household items can become powerful learning tools!

Tactile stimulation is ESSENTIAL for babies and toddlers because it helps their brains develop through touch and exploration🧠

Feeling different textures, temperatures, and shapes strengthens sensory processing, supports fine and gross motor skills, and encourages curiosity about the world around them.

Letting your little ones explore freely with different textures will also promote better eating habits and assist with fussy eaters, as they won't be so disgusted at the more lumpy textures that you try and feed them 🤢🥦🍓

For the parents who hate the feeling of "squishy" textures, remember to try and not project those feelings onto your little ones. Start off with dry "clean" textures that don't send you into a downward spiral at the thought of contact! 😂

Yes, they really do want to drop that spoon 20 times and yes, it matters! Repetition is how young children master skills, make sense of their world and build memory and confidence. Every time they try again and again, they’re strengthening neural pathways, learning about cause and effect and practicing control and coordination. ⭐️

What might look like “just doing it again” is actually meaningful learning in motion.

Instead of stopping the cycle, join in. Get down to their level, talk about what’s happening and celebrate their persistence with words of encouragement. When you talk to them about what they are doing, you’re helping them connect actions with language too. Through repetition, your child is building far more than you can see. They are learning problem solving, resilience and learning to explore with confidence. ❤️🧠

Our mascot, Tom-e, is not for everyone, and to be honest, I've heard a few "Pennywise" tales from some of our Dads (you know who you are 😂) BUT, here's the WHY explaining our carefully designed Tom-e...

The babies and toddlers are instantly mesmerized by Tom-e because his enlarged pupils make him appear warm, friendly, and highly attentive. Young children are naturally drawn to faces and eyes, and Tom-e's large, expressive eyes capture their attention and spark their curiosity.

The enlarged pupils also create a sense of connection and engagement, making the children feel as though Tom-e is looking directly at them, which encourages interaction, trust, and fascination.
