The Grade 7 children and Senior Campus Staff along with some awesome parents have been assisting Taryn Morton in creating yet another spectacular mosaic as a farewell gift to Bay. This week, Mr Beckmann got to lay the final tile pieces of the surfer, completing a beautiful and lasting legacy. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has contributed their time, creativity and care to this very special piece. What a wonderful way to celebrate Bay and leave yet another meaningful treasure behind!

Our Senior Campus children are presenting Panto Pandemonium to be performed over two exciting nights: Wednesday, 16 September and Thursday, 17 September at 18:30. We have different lead cast characters performing each night so be sure to check the cast lists to see which night your favourite

Last week, the Grade 3s took us on a galactic journey with their orals on Space. They did their research and they then presented their findings. We learnt about planets, moons, constellations, solar systems, dwarf planets, comets, black holes and so much more. It truly was a BIG bang for our brains!

On Saturday last week, our girls braved the rain and very cold weather to take part in the Paul Greyling Netball Tournament. Despite the weather and the slippery courts, the girls played brilliantly. The U13 netball girls took part at a tournament at Zwaanswyk on the weekend, winning all 3 of their matches. This week our children played hockey against Bergvliet and netball against Kleinberg. Results received at the time of going to press were as follows, Hockey: U13 girls lost 2-1; U13 boys lost 3-2; U11 girls won 1-0; U11 boys drew 0-0; U10 boys won 6-1; U10 girls won 2-1 and U9 girls lost 2-3 after an incredible performance on Astro for the first time. Netball games against Kleinberg are always tough but our girls rose to the challenge even if the scores do not reflect this. The results are: U13 8-18; U12 0-12 and U10 4-7. Well done to all our coaches and teams.
