SOME MATHEMATICAL FACTS ABOUT 2025

1. 2025, itself, is a PERFECT square:

45² = 2025

2. It is a product of TWO squares, viz:

9² × 5² = 2025.

3. It is the sum of THREE squares, viz:

40² + 20² + 5² = 2025.

4. 2025 is the next PERFECT SQUARE
that comes after the year 1936.

44² = Year 1936
45² = Year 2025

5. It's the sum of cubes of all the
single digits, from 1 to 9. viz:

1³ + 2³ + 3³ + 4³ + 5³ + 6³ + 7³
+ 8³ + 9³ = 2025.

Year 2025 shall be an interesting year

Siloam Math Centre

We are starting a brand new Grade 7 Math group on Wednesday 12 April!! This will be focused on laying a solid Math foundation in preparation for high school. Please comment if you are interested and DM your email address.

(If there is interest for a Gr.6 group too, please comment also and we can arrange that too.)

These groups can continue right through high school and give continuous support in Math to make sure your child stays on track 😊

This year Juleen has joined Siloam Math Centre to help out with the grade 8&9's as well as the Math Lit students. She is excellent, has more than 30 years of teaching experience and her passion for Math is contageous!! 💖

2022's Math lessons are up and running and going very well so far! All our current time slots are full, BUT one new time slot could be created for a group of maximum 4 students in Gr.10/11 which still needs to be filled. Please share this post if you know of anyone interested. (CAPS/Cambridge/IEB students welcome) 🦋

This is the exact reason I studied Math and Psychology - to help people who suffer from 'Math trauma' (or Math anxiety) and also to help prevent it from occurring. Here is a good article based on some research:
