"Remember when they said 'be a winner'?

Well, I took off like a rocket! These days, at the sprightly age of 61, I still lace up my sneakers (occasionally) and hit the pavement.

Sure, I might not be breaking any speed records or claiming victory at races, but who needs that kind of pressure anyway?

Nowadays, I've traded raw speed for wisdom and wit.
I've learned a thing or two about life, and let me tell you, there's nothing quite like the gift of experience.

I may not be the fastest runner ( or walker) out there, but I sure know how to cheer on those who are.

Life has a funny way of teaching us that it's not always about crossing the finish line first.

It's about the journey, the discipline, and the unwavering consistency that truly make us winners in the game of life.

So, while I may not be sprinting like a teenager anymore, I'm definitely winning at the game of being my best self.

So here's to all the runners out there, young and old, fast and slow.

Let's celebrate each other's victories, no matter how big or small, because in the end, it's not about who finishes first - it's about the camaraderie, the laughter, and the shared moments that make life truly worthwhile.

Ah, the endless saga of problems!

They often parade before us like giants, casting shadows larger than life itself.

But wait, could it be that our perspective is playing tricks on us?
Indeed, we tend to magnify our troubles by seeing them as personal, permanent, and pervasive.

Firstly, the personal touch!
How many times have we muttered, "I cannot" in the face of a challenge, allowing it to chip away at our belief in ourselves?

Let's not let these problems define our abilities or shape our identities.

Then comes the notion of permanence!

Our memories, oh so tricky, tend to bundle up with the problem state, making it seem like this issue has haunted us forever and will continue to do so.

But hey, nothing lasts forever, not even problems!

Lastly, the pervasive nature of problems!

We let them seep into every nook and cranny of our lives, painting a picture of doom and gloom. It's time to corral these troubles back to their rightful place – a specific context where they belong.

So, let's remember, just like that oversized sweater in the dryer, problems can shrink down to a manageable size when we realize their impermanence.

Let's take on these challenges with a temporary spirit and a dash of humor – after all, a problem shared is a problem halved, right?

Let's tackle them head-on, one context at a time, and watch those mountains turn back into molehills!

To enhance the likelihood of accomplishing these aspirations, it's beneficial to articulate the goal in a specific, measurable, and inspiring statement.

Then, construct a detailed plan to achieve it.

By committing the goal and plan to writing, the goal becomes more tangible, and the necessary steps appear more attainable, ultimately heightening the prospect of success.

What is true authenticity?

Lets dive deep to it core. Read it all please.

Thoughts, emotions, and feelings form the core of our humanity.

We're constantly thinking, feeling, and riding the waves of emotion, whether we realize it or not.

When you ask someone "how are you feeling?" and they respond with a quick evasion, there's a whole world of emotion beneath the surface.

Similarly, if you inquire "what are you thinking?" and receive a nonchalant "nothing," it's a sign that they're not quite ready to open up.

But here's the kicker:

if someone claims "I am not emotional," it's likely they're trying to brush their emotions under the rug.

The truth is, we're always thinking, always feeling, and always immersed in some emotional state.

True authenticity means being aware of these aspects within ourselves, granting others unspoken permission to feel, and not necessarily needing every emotion to be articulated.

After all, sometimes it's the unspoken that speaks the loudest!

Hey there, brainiacs and jokesters!

You know, breaking negative self-talk is like giving your mental well-being and confidence a VIP upgrade.

Here are some savvy strategies to help you kick those pesky negative thoughts to the curb:

1. Spot the Debbie Downer in your head

Step one is to catch yourself in the act of negative self-talk.

Keep an eye (or an ear) out for those sneaky thoughts, especially when you're feeling as deflated as a popped balloon animal.

2. Play devil's advocate with your own brain:

Once you've busted those negative thoughts, put them on trial.

Ask yourself if there's any hard evidence to support them, or if there's a funnier, more positive way to look at things.
