Radford House

The Grade 8, 9 and senior Dramatic Arts students were able to see their Drama set work, 'Sophiatown', in performance at the State Theatre in Pretoria, for its historic 40th anniversary. "Memory is a weapon" and the live jazz band, charismatic performers and lively dance numbers definitely made for a highly memorable experience!

Radford House delivered an impressive performance at the swimming gala, finishing a strong second out of three competitive schools. Competing against Pinnacle Ridgeview College and The Kings School Robin Hills, the team showed great determination, skill, and teamwork in the pool. Their consistent efforts across events earned them a well-deserved podium finish and highlighted the depth of talent within the squad.

Letter of the Week: R

We explored R by cutting out roads, then teamwork kicked in as the class connected them into one big track. Once it flowed, out came the cars for racing and lots of “rrr” sounds.

The grade 10 chemistry kids were very excited to do the heating curve experiment and enjoyed boiling water on their desks.

Different substances were added to see if things would explode, but luckily everything went off smoothly!

Our grade 4s enjoyed a theme “innings” where Martial Arts instructors came to give a demonstration of their style. They had the kids participate in trying some of the forms, and some practice weapons. We had a lot of fun and were so excited to see who could hold the bo staff the longest! 🐉

Pyjamas for a Purpose! 💙

There was a wonderful buzz of comfort and kindness around the school as our pupils arrived in their cosiest pyjamas for a very special cause. From fluffy slippers to favourite PJs. 😊

Our Pyjama Day is more than just a fun dress-up opportunity, it’s a chance for our school community to come together and make a meaningful difference. Through generous donations, we are able to support the incredible charities close to our hearts and extend our care beyond the classroom. 💫

Our annual D&D Morning once again transformed Radford House into a hub of imagination, where heroes were created and quests unfolded. From cracking clever riddles to facing off against fearsome foes, our young adventurers embraced every challenge with creativity and courage.

Radford House produced a strong all-round performance to secure a well-earned 12-run victory over Cedarwood College in an exciting mini-cricket fixture. After posting a competitive total, Radford’s bowlers and fielders showed great discipline and teamwork to keep Cedarwood just short, sealing a confident win and continuing their positive momentum this season.
