> 2 x certified copies of South African I.D. or Valid Passport.
> 2 Certified copies of Permanent Residence Permit( If the applicant is a foreigner)
> Attend proficiency training course at registered training center.
> Once declared competent,upon completion of theory and practical.Proficiency certificates issued..
> Complete all SAPS competency application requirements..
> Book appointment at your local SAPS..Designated Fi****ms Officer to Submit application for capture.
> Waiting period of approximately 90 days for approval via SMS from CFR
> Once received, go fetch printout from your DFO..
> Purchase firearm>obtain motivation>complete all fi****ms applications requirements..
> Book appointment with your local SAPS D.F.O.
> Submit application for capture at DFO
> Waiting period of approximately 90 days for approval via SMS from CFR
> Once License approval confirmed via SMS, proceed to DFO to collect printout TEMP. firearm Permit.
> Collect firearm from dealer/Owner
