opened on the 20th January 1998, in the back hall of the Midlands Christian Centre, with the initial enrolment of 7 learners. We have experienced tremendous growth in our school since the early days, and we now have our own school buildings, that can accommodate for up to 120 learners from Grade 1 - 12 and 80 learners in Pre-School. ECA Pre-School starts from 2 years old (Teddies Group) going up t

o Grade R which is the School Readiness programme. The curriculum from Grades 1 to 7 is an individualised, mastery based, character developing academic programme. Biblical values are instilled into the children from Pre-School all the way to Grade 12. The curriculum teaches life skills and the understanding of their unique purpose and individual potential. From grades 8 – 12, ECA embraces an innovative online blended learning approach which is used to appeal to different learning styles that reinforces learning. At ECA, it is our express purpose to ensure that your child is receiving the best quality education that we can offer in comfortable, air-conditioned Learning Centres.

ECA PRE-SCHOOL TWOSHOE TUESDAY

On Tuesday, 11 August, our ECA Pre-School learners enjoyed a fun TwoShoe Tuesday by coming to school wearing two different shoes!

The children had a wonderful time comparing colours, sizes, shapes and patterns, which made the day both enjoyable and educational. Activities like this encourage observation, language development, confidence and social interaction in a playful way.

Thank you to all the parents for supporting the fundraiser. Each child also received a tasty snack as part of the day’s fun!

MANDELA DAY – GIVING BACK THROUGH KINDNESS

Our ECA learners had the opportunity to make a difference this Mandela Day by coming together to prepare and donate meals for our two local creches: Fountain of Life in Wembezi and Dayspring in Ntabamhlope.

Through their generous donations of oranges and peanut butter and jam sandwiches, our learners were able to provide a meal for over 300 children. It was wonderful to see our learners working together, spreading kindness and having plenty of fun while making the sandwiches.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this initiative possible!

HONOUR ROLL OUTING – GALLERIA ICE SKATING RINK

On Thursday, 23 July 2026, our Honour Roll learners enjoyed a special outing to the Galleria Ice Skating Rink in Amanzimtoti as a reward for their outstanding achievements during Term 2.

The learners had a wonderful time on the ice, enjoying plenty of laughter, fun, and memorable moments together. After their skating session, they also had the opportunity to spend some time in the games arcade, adding even more excitement to an already fantastic day.

It was a wonderful day of celebration and a well-deserved reward for their hard work, commitment, and perseverance throughout the term.

Congratulations once again to all our Honour Roll learners on this wonderful achievement!

⚽🏑 Our Term 2 Inter-House Sports Day was filled with exciting competition, teamwork, and plenty of fun as Levi and Judah went head-to-head in Girls Hockey and Boys Soccer. Congratulations to all our learners for their excellent sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout the day. A special congratulations to Levi, who emerged victorious overall! 🏆

ECA PRE-SCHOOL DRESS-UP DAY

The excitement started long before Friday, with eager chatter and big imaginations building up to our Fun Dress-Up Day on 29 May! Thanks to the creativity and effort of our wonderful parents, our learners arrived proudly showcasing their outfits, each one telling its own story.

A heartfelt thank you to our parents and staff for helping turn anticipation into such a memorable day for our little stars.
