Thembimfundo Special School was officially opened in 2014.It starts from Grade R to 5 ,ages 5 to 18 years.
Thembimfundo Special School is a public school that caters for learners with special educational needs due to disabilities such as ADD, ADHD ,physical disabilities ,Autism Spectrum Disorder ,Severe Intellectual and Severe to Profound Disabilities. The school has boarding facility that houses 200 learners ,day scholars are also admitted. The school aims to provide a holistic development of learners

Children learn best when the significant adults in their lives-parents , teachers and other family and community members work together to encourage, love and support them.As we reminisce the change and profound messages Nelson Mandela left us with,we are looking forward to meet our learners for the 3rd term tomorrow 19 July 2022.We pray for traveling mercies for the staff and our learners as they will be coming to school 🏫.

Once again you have made us proud, representing KZN in 2022 ABC Motsepe SASCE in Rhema Bible Church Randburg.It was not an easy journey but we appreciate all the support from all parties including the community, staff, parents and DOE .To our choir master Mrs Mnyaka may you continue to bring out the best of our children. To our learners, we adore you ,you are our champions.

Yesterday we got position 1 in ABC Mother SASCE Provincial Competition that was hosted by the KZN Department of Education in Bethsaida Ministries International in Phoenix.
