The year 2026 has been an exceptional one for MHS, highlighted by our learners' outstanding commitment both inside and outside the classroom. Congratulations to Sambulo Mkhize on his incredible selection!
It is a massive achievement for a learner from Masakhane High School to be drafted into a professional youth structure.
Kruger United is a rapidly rising force in South African football. After winning the Motsepe Foundation Championship, they earned automatic promotion to the top-flight Betway Premiership.
Following their promotion, the club hosted official Under-21 talent trials across Mpumalanga to build their squad for the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC).Earning a spot in Kruger United's DDC team gives Sambulo a direct pathway to top-flight professional football and a chance to showcase his skills on a national stage.

We are excited to introduce our brand-new Masakhane High School T-shirt. I recently had the pleasure of taking photos with some of our learners who have already pre-ordered theirs, and they look fantastic.

I kindly encourage all parents to support their children in purchasing this new T-shirt. Wearing it helps our learners present themselves with pride and promotes a positive, unified image of our school community.

RE: COMPULSORY CAO APPLICATION AND CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAMME

Please note that all Grade 12 learners are expected to participate in an upcoming career guidance and Central Applications Office (CAO) application session.
A former student from our community, who is currently studying at the Durban University of Technology (DUT), will facilitate the programme.
This initiative aims to assist learners with their tertiary applications and guide them in making informed career choices based on their current academic performance.

Masakhane High School bids a heartfelt farewell to two of our outstanding educators,

Mrs G.K. Nyembe and Mrs Mthembu, who are embarking on their well-deserved retirement.For 23 years, Mrs Nyembe has demonstrated unwavering dedication as one of our finest teachers, passionally shaping minds in Agricultural Science.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to Mrs Mthembu for her 8 years of invaluable service and commitment to teaching Life Science. Together, we have shared wonderful years working to build a brighter future for our learners and serving the Endabayakhe community.
