DHET together with Ilembe District Municipality and the BRICS Student Commission, hosted an event that helps Grade 9 to 12 learners make informed career decisions by exposing them to emerging and scarce-skill careers that align with South Africa’s future economic needs.

This program was done to ensure that no learner is left behind when it comes to access to opportunities and to also to commorate the Youth month by honouring the courage and determination of the young South Africans who stood for change in 1976. Their legacy continues to inspire a new generation of thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers who are shaping the future through innovation and digital transformation.

The iLembe District Municipality, together with the Department of Higher Education and Training, in partnership with the Moses Kotane Research Institute and the BRICS Student Commission, invites all Grade 9 & 12 learners, post-matric youth, teachers, and community leaders to the Future-Oriented Career Expo.
