My first year experience and achievements from the 1st year till now have been tremendous. The degree has exposed me to a different world with benefits from a greater understanding of international communication and relations in the corporate world. It has opened doors for me within the workplace industry as I work at an edTech company which exposes me to communicate with different people from different companies within Africa.

Acceptance criteria to the program:
An NSC with an achievement rating of 4 (50%) in four recognized NSC 20 credit subjects (matric exemption); an achievement rating of 4 (50%) in Life Orientation; and an achievement rating of 4 (50%) in English as First Additional Language (FAL), or 4 (50%) in English as Home Language; Minimum entry points: 26
The purpose of this qualification is aimed at those who wish to become professional communication practitioners and pursue careers in paths such as Communication Specialist, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing, Radio & Television broadcasting, Corporate Communications, Business Communications and Electronic (digital and Internet) Communication. With this qualification, learners will be equipped to enter the field of communication as professionals. This programme includes specialized work in Social Change and Development Communication, Advanced Public Relations, Journalism and Visual Communication, Digital Communication and New Communication Technologies.
