Heritage Day – Celebrate Your Story
On Heritage Day we celebrate the rich heritage of South Africa – our languages, our culture, our music, our food and also our stories. Every book we read, every story we share, contributes to preserving our heritage and building a future filled with knowledge and understanding.
When children read, they don’t just discover new worlds, they also learn to be proud of their own roots and to respect those of others.
Let us read, write, and live our heritage today – one story at a time.
