*Gratitude from my heart*

Today I am just, once again, super grateful for the work I can do.

For what the Lord has equipped me to do.

I am blessed beyond measure to give the children whom the world labels with illnesses or label as a menace to society or too much work, a place to call home.

A place where there is no bullying for how they look, speak, dress or learn.

A place where there is always enough time to catch up.

A place where they can be normal, loved and have a voice of their own.

I am truly blessed to wake up every morning and see those faces light up when they can express themselves and feel loved and accepted.

Thank You Jesus for equipping me.

WE HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE OPTION

*GED Curriculum* 📝

GED = *General Educational Development*
It's the *American High School Diploma equivalent*.
You pass 4 tests instead of doing 5 years of high school and can be done when turning 17.

*The 4 Subjects Tested:*

*1. Math*
Algebra, geometry, graphs, data, and problem solving.
Calculator allowed for part of it.
_Focus: Real-life math, not memorizing formulas_

*2. Reasoning Through Language Arts (RLA)*
Reading + Writing + Grammar
Read articles, answer questions, and write 1 essay.
_Focus: Understand texts and communicate clearly_

*3. Science*
Life science, physical science, and earth science
Reading charts, experiments, and data.
_Focus: How science works, not memorizing facts_

*4. Social Studies*
US History, Civics/Government, Economics, Geography
Reading maps, documents, and graphs.
_Focus: Thinking + analyzing, not just dates_
