🇿🇦🌈 A TASTE OF OUR HERITAGE AT SAVF WONDERLAND! 🌈🇿🇦

Today we celebrated Heritage Day at SAVF Wonderland by embracing the beautiful cultures, traditions and flavours that make our community so special. ❤️

Our little Wonderlanders dressed in traditional clothing and enjoyed sharing and tasting a variety of delicious cultural foods. 🍲🥟🌽

It was a wonderful morning filled with colour, learning, sharing and celebrating what makes each of us unique. 🌍✨

Thank you to all our parents for helping make this day so special by sending traditional food and dressing our little ones in beautiful cultural outfits.

Every dish tells a story. Every tradition has a meaning. Every child is part of our beautiful South African story. 🇿🇦💚

Happy Heritage Day from all of us at SAVF Wonderland Daycare! 🌈

Where every child’s world is coloured with creativity. 🎨

It is with deep sadness and great concern that we at SAVF National Office 001-446 NPO have been following the devastating news of the killings of several women in and around Kempton Park over the past two months.

Behind every victim is a family, a loved one, a friend and a community left with unimaginable pain. These tragic acts of violence remind us once again of the urgent need to stand together against gender-based violence and violence in all its forms.

As an organisation built on Compassion at the Core, we cannot remain indifferent when lives are lost and families are shattered.
This Friday, we invite every SAVF staff member and volunteer to wear BLACK as a simple but powerful expression of:

🖤 Respect for those whose lives have been taken.
🖤 Support for their families, loved ones and communities.
🖤 Solidarity with all women and children affected by violence.
🖤 A stand against violence and a call for safer communities.

Let our SAVF family stand together — united in compassion, united in respect, and united in saying:
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
