🚗💦 Tots Sensory Play: Transport Edition! 🚂

Our Tots pupils got hands-on with a transport themed sensory play morning — and it was glorious messy fun! 😄

Here is what our little drivers got up to:

🫧 Shaving cream cars - cars covered in fluffy white foam!

🧽 Car wash soapy scrub - scrubbing, splashing and lots of giggles.

🚙 Muddy 4x4 toy cars - off-roading through the mud.

🎨 Painting splat bubble wrap roads - driving through paint for the perfect tyre tracks.

Through play, our Tots explored textures, colours, problem-solving and fine motor skills... all while learning about cars, trucks and how things move!

Messy hands, happy hearts, big learning. 💛

🦁 The Tots had a ROARING day at school! 🦁

Our little Cambridge Cubs had a wild time at school and loved every minute of it. 🦁 💛

Here’s what they got up to:

- Beautiful lion art creations: From fluffy manes to fierce faces, every masterpiece was unique.

- Fruit Loop cereal threading: Great for tiny fingers! Our Tots practiced fine motor skills while making colorful patterns.

Through play, art, and creativity, our Tots explored, learned, and had a roaring time together. 🥰

🧠 Wise-up Wednesday 🧠

Did you know that something as simple as building with blocks can help develop so many important skills?

Block play encourages children to focus, solve problems, develop mathematical thinking, understand balance and symmetry, practise teamwork, build confidence and use their imagination. ⭐

Most importantly, children learn that sometimes things fall down—and that’s okay! They can try again, change their plan and keep building. 💪

At Cambridge Kids, we know that play isn’t just play—it is how children learn about themselves and the world around them. ❤️

🍕 Pizza Day in Grade 00! 🍕

Our Grade 00 pupils turned into little chefs and made their very own pizzas! 🧑🏼‍🍳 👨🏾‍🍳

They:
🍕Chopped and diced their favourite toppings.
🍕Sprinkled cheese with care.
🍕Waited patiently for their delicious pizzas to bake.

From prepping to sharing, our little ones practiced fine motor skills, teamwork, and patience while learning about food and healthy choices. 💛

The best part? Enjoying the yummy results of their hard work! 😋

Well done Grade 00 for serving up smiles and scrumptious pizzas! 👏

😁 Yummy Smiles in Grade 000! 😁

It was a Make and Bake day in our Grade 000 classes — and they had the sweetest lesson ever! 🍬

Our little chefs made ‘mouths’ using:

- Icing sugar spread onto Marie Biscuits.

- Marshmallows for the teeth.

Not only was it delicious, but it was also a fun way to talk about oral hygiene, healthy vs. treat foods, and parts of the mouth. 🦷

The best part? Seeing those big smiles as they created and enjoyed their edible artwork. 😄

Well done Grade 000 for mixing, spreading, counting teeth, and learning through play!

🍍🥕Grade 00T Gets Fruity!🍍🥕

Our Grade 00T class had so much fun exploring fruits and veggies at school! 🌟

Here’s what they got up to:

- Carrot experiment: 🧪
What happens when you put a carrot in salt water? Our little scientists made predictions, observed and discovered!

- Toilet roll carrots: 🎨
Crafty hands made the cutest carrot friends.

- Pineapple slicing and tasting:🍍
Learning to slice safely + tasting that sweet, juicy goodness.

- Pineapple art: 🖌️
Creative masterpieces inspired by our tropical fruit.

From science to art to taste-testing, our Grade 00Ts learned through play while discovering how healthy and fun fruits and vegetables can be. 🍍💛
