The call will be open for 2 weeks, and no extensions will be made.

STREAMS:
Stream 1: Production (short formats only)
Stream 2: Skills Development and Training
Stream 3: Marketing and Distribution

KEY DATES:Opening date for submissions- Project 1 – 22 September 2026 – 05 October 2026 (2 weeks)
Closing time is 23:59

Online information sessions (Q&A): 28 – 30 September 2026.

The Mpumalanga International Film Festival (MIFF) is officially inviting applications for the MIFF Biodiversity Incubation Programme 2026 — an intensive storytelling and filmmaking programme focused on the indigenous species, biodiversity, and natural heritage of Mpumalanga.

For years, many talented filmmakers have struggled to access the right opportunities, mentorship, and professional production experience. This programme was created to change that.

Now Hiring: In-house Video Content Creator & Editor Pretoria

We're looking for a fast, creative, and reliable Video Content Creator & Editor to join our team in Pretoria.

This role is focused on capturing and editing high-quality video content for social media, YouTube, campaigns, and live events.

You’ll be responsible for:
• Filming at events, in-store, and on location
• Editing short-form content (Reels, YouTube Shorts, & Bumper Videos)
• Editing longer-form YouTube videos with strong pacing and storytelling
• Ensuring content is platform-optimised and engaging

We’re looking for someone who:
• Is confident behind the camera and has strong editing skills
• Can switch between fast-paced short-form and structured long-form editing
• Understands YouTube pacing, retention, and storytelling
• Works well under pressure and tight turnaround times
