The Mpumalanga International Film Festival (MIFF) is officially inviting applications for the MIFF Biodiversity Incubation Programme 2026 — an intensive storytelling and filmmaking programme focused on the indigenous species, biodiversity, and natural heritage of Mpumalanga.

For years, many talented filmmakers have struggled to access the right opportunities, mentorship, and professional production experience. This programme was created to change that.

We're looking for a fast, creative, and reliable Video Content Creator & Editor to join our team in Pretoria.

This role is focused on capturing and editing high-quality video content for social media, YouTube, campaigns, and live events.

You’ll be responsible for:
• Filming at events, in-store, and on location
• Editing short-form content (Reels, YouTube Shorts, & Bumper Videos)
• Editing longer-form YouTube videos with strong pacing and storytelling
• Ensuring content is platform-optimised and engaging

We’re looking for someone who:
• Is confident behind the camera and has strong editing skills
• Can switch between fast-paced short-form and structured long-form editing
• Understands YouTube pacing, retention, and storytelling
• Works well under pressure and tight turnaround times

The Sixth Presidential Employment Stimulus Programme (PESP 6) is now open for applications!

The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) is excited to announce the opening of submissions for PESP 6, focusing on the Audio-Visual Industry. This opportunity, issued by the Presidency through the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC), aims to boost job creation and growth in the sector.

The closing date for submissions is Friday, 31 October 2025 for Stream 1 Group 2, Stream 2, and Stream 3.

Important Note: There will be a separate call for Stream 1 – Group 1 (Blockbusters).
