Yesterday, Mpumalanga Regional Training Trust (MRTT) was honoured to accept the invitation to participate in the Women’s Day Commemoration held at Agincourt Sports Ground in Bushbuckridge Local Municipality, joining women and stakeholders from across the province.
We remember the fearless generation of 1956, whose courage, resilience, dedication and unwavering commitment to justice and freedom continue to inspire generations. Their legacy reminds us that the pursuit of gender equality, social justice and the advancement of women remains a collective responsibility.
As part of the commemoration, MRTT engaged with local youth, providing information and guidance on our training programmes, skills development opportunities and pathways towards sustainable careers. These engagements form part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring that young people are informed about opportunities that can equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to participate meaningfully in the economy.
Inspired by the resilience and courage of the women who came before us, we continue to advocate for a society where every woman and young person is empowered to thrive, lead and contribute to a better future.
