Today was about so much more than simply talking about different careers. It was about opening our children's minds to possibilities, allowing them to dream bigger, and helping them understand that there are many different paths they can take in life.

Today has also reminded us of the importance of our school being connected to the community around us. Our children are growing up within a community filled with talented, skilled and caring people. When our community comes into our school and invests its time, knowledge and experience in our children, we create something very powerful: a partnership that helps shape the leaders of tomorrow.
