🕊️ IN LOVING MEMORY OF MR HANNES NIEUWOUDT 🕊️
It is with great sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Mr Hannes Nieuwoudt, former Principal of Hoërskool Elsburg.
Mr Nieuwoudt was far more than a principal. He was an educator, a leader, a mentor and, above all, a man who believed deeply in people and in the potential of every young person.
After more than 40 years in education, Mr Nieuwoudt spent six years leading Hoërskool Elsburg. When he joined the school in 2015, he spoke passionately about his love for education, his passion for young people and his dream of seeing learners believe in themselves, set goals and work towards their dreams.
His words became part of the spirit of Elsburg:
“I want us all to build on faith and take this school to new heights.”
Those were not simply words. During his time at the school, he worked to strengthen the management team and improve academic results, while always keeping the learners at the heart of his leadership.Even after his retirement, the legacy he left at Hoërskool Elsburg remained.
Today, we remember a man who dedicated his life to education, who believed in people, who invested in young lives and who dreamed of making a difference.
Mr Nieuwoudt, thank you for believing, for leading, for serving and for helping to build Hoërskool Elsburg into the school it is today.
Your legacy lives on in every learner whose life you touched, every colleague you inspired and every person who was encouraged to believe in themselves and reach for greater heights.
Rest peacefully, Sir. 🕊️
You will always be remembered as part of the Elsburg family.

🍔 FOOD STALLS – Stalls are available for only R400. Bring your delicious food and sell it on the day!
🎟️ MONEY RAFFLE – Entries are R40, with winners announced at the end of the event! 💰
🎮 GAMING ACTIVITY SECTIONS – Want to host a Colour Fest, jumping castle or another exciting activity? Sections are available for R500!
