ONE CAMPUS, ONE GARDEN | FROM PLANTING TO HARVEST

What started from the ground up in November 2025 has now produced a successful harvest! Lephalale TVET College students have harvested fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden they built from scratch as part of the One Campus, One Garden initiative, launched by SAPCO in partnership with AAD and AgriSETA.

The harvested produce was sold to students, staff members of the college while some of the vegetables and herbs were used by Hospitality students for meal preparation, creating a practical link between agriculture, entrepreneurship and hands-on learning.

This milestone reflects the impact of the initiative in promoting food security, sustainability, entrepreneurship and practical skills development. From building and maintaining the garden to harvesting and putting the produce to use, our students continue to turn learning into meaningful opportunities.
