Congratulations to this Cecchetti Primary Examination group from our Sacred Heart College campus who were chosen by the examiner to be presented with the East Rand Junior Test Trophy.👏🏼👏🏽 So well deserved!🏆

Our children's exams took place on Friday 20 October 2023 and an excitingly happy day was had by all. Thank you to the dressing room team, Rachel Meerts - our pianist, parents and pupils who made this day possible. The younger students are photographed here.

An exhilarating and unforgettable evening was spent at Joburg Theatre last night, together with my family, watching Joburg Ballet's DON QUIXOTE with guest artists Marianela Nuñez and Vadim Muntagirov from the Royal Ballet. It was also exciting to see ballet colleagues, ballet friends and pupils. Joy Chepkwony performed in the Dream Scene and made the studio proud. A superb evening indeed!

The children's exams are fast approaching. On Sunday 1 October, they all rehearsed with the pianist. Here the Cecchetti Grade One candidates are seen practicing their retirés at the barre.
