As the world scrutinizes a horrific murder trial that continues to go viral, and as I see more and more people sympathizing with or defending what is so deeply unjust, I’m reminded of something simple: no matter how hard motherhood can be, being a mom is a blessing and one of life’s greatest privileges.

In a world that can sometimes feel so upside down, I’m grateful for the privilege of raising, loving, protecting, and guiding little lives. ❤️

I love making our lessons about more than just a classroom exercise. ❤️

We can easily get caught up in the mundane ABCs and 123s, but this lesson was about so much more.

For Profession Week, our children dressed up as chefs, cooked meals, and were then asked to take those meals home and, with their parents, hand them out to someone on the road.

An incredibly simple lesson in kindness, compassion, and giving—but one with an impact far greater than any ABC. ❤️👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
