Small Steps Playgroup

Small Steps Playgroup Nurturing all aspects of early child development in a fun and safe environment. I founded this playgroup seventeen years ago. My programme runs from 07:30-12:30.

I am a qualified Nursing Sister and Midwife with a passion for the early education of children. It is run in a safe homely, nurturing and stimulating environment. My aim is to address all aspects of early childhood development. The daily educational programme is structured around a theme. Games, vocabulary, creative work, music, stories and other learning opportunities are focused around these themes. This is designed to meet all developmental needs. Through its unique individual attention this provides optimum stimulation and enjoyment, whilst building a firm foundation for future education. Small Steps Playgroup caters for 18 month to 4 year olds. Our small group of friends allows for more individual attention and love which is vital at such a young age. With water restrictions being the order of the day we stripped down to our gorgeous summer bodies, slapped on lots of suntan lotion and had fun with old spray bottles! Keeping cool, having fun and at the same time, pulling the spray trigger stregtherns the hand muscles and helps with fine motor development. 🍉☉
