We have ensured a safe and secure environment in which children can feel relaxed, comfortable and challenged. Parents are encouraged to have maximum involvement in the school. We would like to make your child’s transition from home to school a smooth and pleasant one for them and for you. When children first come to school parents are welcome to stay a little while to help their children settle in. The suggestions and opinions of parents are welcome at any time and an exchange of views between teachers and parents is seen as an important part of understanding the child’s needs.

At Tiddly Winks playschool we believe each child is special and when your child starts playschool it is an important time for both child and parents. Our aim is to make the transition from home to playschool as easy as possible on both the child and parents. You can rest assure that we provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment that promotes learning through play, using a wide range of resources and the opportunity for children to develop their social skills as they play alongside and with other children. Fie hope that this booklet will explain a little about us and perhaps answer some of the questions you might have. Parents are always welcome to come and chat to the teachers and see what we offer.
