Have you prayed today, sis? 🙏🏽❤️

You know you can pray in your car, in the shower, while cleaning, while cooking, or simply sitting quietly in His presence. Prayer doesn’t always require a perfect setting—it simply requires a willing heart.

My friends at CUM Books know that I am a WOMAN ON A MISSION TO PRAY… AND WRITE IT DOWN! 📝🙏🏽

I want to remember what I prayed for, recognise what God has done, and have a testimony of His amazing faithfulness and goodness.
Sis, don’t underestimate the power of your prayers. Your Father hears you. Job 22:27 reminds us that when we pray to Him, He hears us.

Here’s a simple acronym to help you structure your prayer time:
P — Praise: Start with praise and worship.
R — Repent: Ask God for forgiveness and surrender your heart to Him.
A — Ask: God is your Father. Bring Him what is in your heart and ask according to His will.
Y — Yes: Believe that God hears you and trust Him with His answer and His timing.

Women, let’s become women who pray, believe, write it down and testify! ✍🏽🔥

Carve out time to sit at the feet of the Father. Tell Him everything. Listen for His voice. Write down what He is saying. And watch how He turns prayers into testimonies.
May God richly bless you as you seek His face in prayer. ❤️

The beautiful pens and notebooks are available at CUM Books nationwide and on the online store.

WOMAN ON A MISSION

I have been a follower of Jesus Christ for 20 years now. My mission has always been to worship Him wholeheartedly and to be obedient to what He asks me to do. I have probably dropped a ball or two along the way in my desire to walk in obedience.

Before I met Jesus, I had dreams, but I never executed them. They stayed in my head. One of the reasons I didn't pursue them was because I was scared—What if I fail?

It was only later that I discovered the root of my fear of failure was connected to my teenage pregnancy. A lot of ugly and hurtful things were said about me, and subconsciously, I began to believe that there was nothing better for me out there.

When I think about it now, I can even look back at the type of men I dated and see how some of those beliefs influenced my choices.
Anyway, through the Holy Spirit, the Lord opened my eyes to why He created me and the works He had set aside for me to do.

Psalm 37:4 came into context.
Proverbs 29:11 came into context.
Proverbs 29:18 became clear as day.

I know this much: my mission to follow Jesus obediently and wholeheartedly has not changed.
It has been a journey that has required endurance, perseverance, faith, boldness, courage, consistency and the belief that He who started the work in me will definitely complete it.
I am not certain how it will all work out.

But I know He is faithful.
He is good.
And He keeps His promises.

So, I keep going.
I keep dreaming.
I keep obeying.
I keep believing.
I keep showing up.

Because I am a woman on a mission.

Not because I have everything figured out, but because I know the One who called me.
And I trust Him with the journey.

Kingdom Women, arise!
Arise with courage.
Arise with wisdom.
Arise with strength.
Arise for truth.
Arise for justice.
Arise for those who cannot speak for themselves.

May we never underestimate what God can do through a woman who is willing to say, “Yes, Lord. Send me.”

Purpose-Driven vs. Good Opportunities

In The Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren writes:
"We are products of our past, but we don't have to be prisoners of it."

Many of us are presented with good opportunities, but not every good opportunity aligns with God's purpose for our lives. A purpose-driven life is not about being busy; it is about being intentional, obedient, and faithful to what God has called you to do.

Take a moment to reflect:

When you are living a purpose-driven life, what behaviours and habits are evident?

You seek God before making decisions.
You have clarity and direction.
You are intentional with your time and priorities.
You can confidently say "no" to distractions and opportunities that don't align with your calling.
You persevere even when the journey is difficult because you know your "why."
You invest in continual growth and serve others with your gifts.

When you are not living purposefully, what behaviours and habits begin to appear?

Constantly chasing every opportunity that comes your way.
Feeling overwhelmed, distracted, and stretched too thin.
Comparing yourself to others.
Making decisions based on fear, pressure, or the fear of missing out.
Living reactively instead of intentionally.
Feeling unfulfilled despite being busy.

A purpose-driven life does not mean every day is easy. It means every step is anchored in the One who designed you. The greatest fulfilment comes not from doing more, but from doing what God created you to do.

Reflection Questions:

What habits in your daily life reveal that you are living according to your purpose?
What distractions or "good opportunities" have pulled you away from your God-given assignment?

What is one intentional step you can take this week to realign your life with God's purpose?

"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." — Ephesians 2:10

Coaching & Mentoring With Lusanda Dhlamini Lusanda Dhlamini

Every one of us carries a unique story. Some chapters are filled with joy and breakthrough, while others are marked by pain, disappointment, loss, or uncertainty. Yet every experience has value.

When I reflect on my own journey, I can clearly see that the moments which caused me the greatest pain have become the very places from which God has shaped my purpose.

My experiences have become tools that allow me to encourage, coach, mentor, and serve others.

What life experiences has God entrusted to you?
Perhaps it's not only the painful moments. It could be your career, your education, your business, your parenting journey, your leadership experience, or a skill that comes naturally to you.

God wastes nothing. He has an incredible way of weaving every season together to reveal His purpose and bring glory to His name.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." — Romans 8 vs 28

What if your personality isn't something to overcome... but a clue to your God-given purpose?

One of the biggest surprises for the women I coach and mentor is discovering that their personality matters when shaping their purpose.

I'm naturally an extrovert. I love connecting with people, communicating, encouraging, and building relationships. Looking back, I can see that God intentionally wired me this way because communication is a significant part of my calling.

But here's the question: How has God wired you?

Take a moment to reflect:
✨ What personality type are you?
✨ Where do you believe your personality serves you best?
✨ Are you willing to stretch beyond your comfort zone for the sake of your purpose?
✨ Does your personality flourish on its own, or does it thrive within a team?

There are no "better" personality types. God doesn't make mistakes. He created each of us uniquely, and understanding how He designed you can unlock greater clarity, confidence, and direction.

These are some of the powerful conversations we explore in my coaching and mentoring sessions. When you understand who you are, you begin to understand why you're here.

đź’¬ Did you ever consider that your personality could be one of God's clues to your purpose?

I'd love to hear from you. Tell me in the comments:

What's your personality type, and how do you think God wants to use your personality type?

The smallest insight about yourself becomes the biggest breakthrough in discovering your purpose.

Join the conversation—you may encourage someone else with your story.

What comes naturally to you?

Most women spend years focusing on what they should be doing instead of discovering what God has already placed within them.

Your purpose is often hidden in what comes naturally.

For me, it's connecting people. I naturally build relationships wherever I go—from a cashier at the grocery store to a corporate executive. It isn't something I force; it's simply how God designed me.

In fact, a publisher once suggested I write a book on networking, relationship building, and collaboration. It made me smile because I hardly notice I'm doing it—it's simply part of who I am.

What about you?

✨ What do people always come to you for?
✨ What feels effortless to you?
✨ What do you enjoy doing that others find difficult?

These are often clues to your God-given purpose.

This week, make time to reflect. You may discover that the very thing you've taken for granted is one of your greatest strengths.

If you're a woman who wants to discover your purpose, gain clarity, and confidently walk in the life God created for you, I'd love to journey with you through Coaching & Mentorship.

COACHING & MENTORSHIP WITH LUSANDA DHLAMINI

Purpose isn't something you invent. It's something you discover.

Have you ever noticed that when you're doing something you truly love, time seems to disappear? It doesn't feel like work. Your heart comes alive, and even if you can't explain it, you know you were made for it.

That is often where purpose begins.

Purpose isn't always a grand vision. Sometimes it's found in the ordinary things that bring extraordinary joy.

✨ Do you naturally care for children and long to see them safe, loved and thriving?
✨ Do you enjoy guiding young people as they make important life decisions?
✨ Do you find joy in opening your home, preparing meals and making people feel seen and welcomed?
✨ Do you love encouraging others, solving problems or helping people discover their potential?

Here's a question I often ask the women I coach:

"What do you love doing, even if no one applauds you or pays you for it?"

Your answer may reveal clues to the purpose God has already woven into your life.

Purpose cannot be manufactured. It is discovered as you grow in your relationship with God, understand how He has uniquely designed you, and courageously embrace who He created you to be.

If you're feeling stuck, uncertain or wondering, "What am I really here for?"—you don't have to figure it out alone.

As a Life Coach and Mentor, I help women discover their God-given purpose, identify their strengths, overcome limiting beliefs and step confidently into the life they were created to live.

đź’¬ I'd love to hear from you:
What is one thing you love doing that makes you feel fully alive? Share it in the comments.
