𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
We are deeply grateful to the National Lottery Commission (Lotto) for supporting Guardians of Hope through funding projects that strengthen our sustainability and reduce ongoing running costs.

Thanks to their support, we have installed solar panels to lower electricity expenses, JoJo tanks to reduce water costs, and received a vehicle that enables us to transport children to hospital visits, collections, and other essential operations. These capital investments significantly reduce monthly expenses, ensuring that more of every community donation goes directly towards the children in our care.

Yet sustainability cannot be achieved through one source of funding alone. Guardians of Hope still relies on our community. Our monthly costs remain substantial, and the children will always need food, formula, nappies, medication, staff, and a safe, loving home.

We ask our community to continue supporting us, whether through donations, monthly contributions, fundraising initiatives, or practical assistance; every effort helps us continue this vital work.

Finally, we extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who played a role in helping us through our recent financial crisis. Every share of our plea created awareness of our plight, leading Lotto to identify us as a recipient of support. Together, we are saving and transforming many more little lives.

Happy Woman’s Day 💛

💛 GOODBYE, SWEET QUADAN 💛

On 30 July we said goodbye to our beautiful Quadan, who has been part of the Guardians of Hope family for the past year.

For an entire year, we had the incredible privilege of loving her, caring for her, watching her grow, and being part of her journey. It has truly been an honour and a blessing to care for this precious little girl.

Quadan, began a new chapter as she went to her foster family. While saying goodbye is never easy, our hearts are filled with gratitude knowing that she is going to a family who will love and nurture her.

To Quadan’s foster family, we wish you a lifetime of love, happiness, beautiful memories and precious moments together. May your home be filled with laughter, patience, kindness and an abundance of love.

Quadan, you will always hold a special place in our hearts. You may have left Guardians of Hope, but you will never leave the hearts of those who loved you here.

We thank God for allowing us to be part of your story, even if only for a season. We pray that this new chapter will be filled with love, security and happiness.
