Mikhail and Iviwe represented Beaconhurst at the SACEE Grade 4 and 5 Read Aloud Competition. They read with great expression and did very well.

The Grade 3’s completed an internal written Spelling Bee. They had to unjumble words, find the misspellt words and find words in a crossword. Well done to Aurora, Siphelele, Linathi and Emma who received full marks for their spelling bee.

Ticket to the Moon Youth Theatre Company visited Beaconhurst School and delivered a fantastic performance! Our Grade R-7 enjoyed the story of Mr Hare Meets Mr Mandela.
It was a wonderful experience that brought theatre to life for our learners, sparking their imagination and creating lasting memories. We are truly grateful to the talented performers for sharing their passion and talent with us.

Celebrating Who We Are

Today we celebrate our roots,
Our stories, traditions and beautiful truths.
Different cultures, yet side by side,
Sharing our heritage with joy and pride.

Many backgrounds, many ways,
One school family, united today.
Together we honour where we’ve come from,
And celebrate all that we’ve become. 🇿🇦❤️

Proud of our heritage. Proud of our school. Proud to stand together.
