Today, we celebrate the wonderful teachers who do so much more than teach.

The ones who see potential before it is fully realised. Who encourage curiosity, celebrate progress, challenge boundaries and remind our girls that they are capable of more than they sometimes believe.

Thank you for every lesson, every conversation, every word of encouragement that becomes part of her journey, shaping not only what she knows, but who she becomes.

Lisolihle competed in Tamandare, Brazil in September, where she finished as the 1st Runner-Up (First Princess) and was the youngest contestant in the competition.

Well done Lisolihle.

From 25 to 29 September, Bishops Diocesan College hosted the National Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championships (NIDPSC), and our girls showed up and spoke up!

Proudly representing Clarendon were Limi Dekeda, Lunathi Dudumashe, Olothando Boyce and Siyasanga Ndlovu, guided by Mrs Kotzรฉ.

Each of our girls took on four challenging sections: Persuasive Speaking, Debating, Impromptu Speaking and Interpretive Reading. That takes real courage, quick thinking and serious talent.

A special shoutout to Lunathi, who made it all the way to the semi-finals in Interpretive Reading!

Girls, we are immensely proud of you. Thank you for representing Clarendon with such confidence and heart.

It was a true honour for our chamber choir girls to perform alongside Anica Kiana at the Rachel Kolisi Falling Forward event at the Guild Theatre in East London on 22 September.

The moving performance formed part of an evening celebrating Rachelโ€™s life and journey, and the work of the Falling Forward Foundation, which is committed to empowering women and girls and creating opportunities for positive change.

As a female school chamber choir, we were incredibly proud to be part of such a meaningful event. Our girls received wonderful praise for their vocal quality, professionalism, discipline, positive attitude and the ease with which they worked with the team. What a special experience for our girls to be part of!

Our Junior A Water Polo Team, made up entirely of U14 players, travelled to Gqeberha this weekend to play in the Collegiate U15 Water Polo Tournament.

A 7th place finish against an entire field of U15 teams, with our team made up of U14 players, is something we're incredibly proud of. We're so proud of our girls who showed teamwork, resilience and a whole lot of Clarendon spirit.

A huge thank you to Ms Weppelman, Mrs Voke and our wonderful parents for their guidance, encouragement and support throughout the weekend.

From the 1st tee off to the final putt, our 2026 Clarendon High School for Girls Golf Day was one for the books!

Good golf, great company, plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition and of course, some wonderful Clarendon spirit along the way.

A huge thank you to every 4-ball, sponsor, business, supporter and member of our Clarendon community who helped make the day possible. Your support means so much to our school and our girls.

For now, weโ€™ll let the photos do the talkingโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ“ธ

Hereโ€™s a little look back at a fantastic day on the fairways! Until next year!
