This week in Mathematics, we learned all about ANGLES! 📐✨ Our Level 3 learners put their knowledge into practice by creating their very own angles posters. From acute to obtuse and right angles, we’re making learning fun through creativity and hands-on activities! 🧠📚

The level 5 learners gained knowledge of the structure and function of the lungs🫁.
The lesson focused on the breathing process, specifically inhalation and exhalation. Learners demonstrated an understanding that the lungs expand when we breathe in to take in oxygen, and contract when we breathe out to expel carbon dioxide.

Friday Funday was all about exploring, creating and having fun! 🥳🌿

Today, our learners discovered the exciting world of raft building — using natural materials, working together and putting their problem-solving skills to the test! 🪵🛶

Once our rafts were ready, we tested them out in the water to see if they could float! 💦✨ We also enjoyed exploring nature and collecting twigs along the way. 🌱

What a fun-filled day of hands-on learning, teamwork and adventure! 🤩💚

​Today we celebrate the gentle giants of the animal kingdom! Elephants are not only majestic, but they’re also crucial to keeping our ecosystems thriving.
​Here are a few fascinating fun facts about these incredible gentle giants:
​🧠 Unbelievable Memory & Empathy – The saying "an elephant never forgets" is real! They recognize long-lost friends, remember water sources over vast distances, and even mourn loved ones who have passed.
​👂 Built-in Air Conditioners – An elephant’s ears act like cooling systems! Flapping them can lower their body temperature by up to 10°C on hot days.
​💪 A Powerhouse Trunk – An elephant's trunk contains over 40,000 muscles (humans have around 600 in their entire body!). It’s strong enough to lift full tree trunks, yet gentle enough to pick up a single blade of grass.
​🐾 Hearing with Their Feet – Elephants can "listen" to low-frequency vibrations through the ground using sensitive receptors in their footpads, detecting storms or warnings miles away!
​🌿 Ecosystem Engineers – By creating clearings in forests and spreading seeds through their dung, elephants pave the way for hundreds of other plant and animal species to survive.
