Our Hunter House girls brought plenty of blue spirit to school last week!
But it was more than just a fun day of showing off their House pride. It was all in support of a wonderful cause.

This year, all proceeds will go towards Khanyisa Developmental Centre in East London, who support and empower children with various special needs.

Thank you to our Hunter House learners and families for getting involved and helping us make a difference in our community. Blue looks even better when it’s worn with purpose!

𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝟲 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣📍 Palm Springs Holiday Resort

From morning hikes and treasure hunts to raft building, river crossings, orienteering, sandboarding, beach adventures, our hilarious Trash Bag Fashion Show, talent shows and evenings around the bonfire, our Grade 6 girls certainly made the most of every moment at camp!

Lots of laughter, tired legs, new challenges, stronger friendships and memories that will last a lifetime!

𝗔 𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗪𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗢 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡 𝗙𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦! ➗

Our Grade 4 girls took their maths learning to the next level with a hands-on fractions lesson using Smarties!

From making and comparing fractions to enjoying their colourful “maths equipment” afterwards, it was a lesson filled with learning, laughter and a little something sweet.

Learning is always better when you can have fun with it!

𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦 📌

𝗔 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗚𝗘, 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 & 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗧 ✨

Our girls delivered exceptional performances across both the English and isiXhosa sections of the 25th Buffalo City Drama Eisteddfod (ELFEST), which was held from 27 - 29 July.

In the English section our girls demonstrated outstanding articulation, creativity, and stage presence and earned an impressive 39 Medals - awarded exclusively for scores of 95% and above across categories including Public Speaking, Poetry Recital, and Original Adverts.

In the isiXhosa Section on 3 August, hosted at Clarendon Primary, an atmosphere of vibrant and colourful celebration was created through language and the performing arts.

Top achievers B. Bill and M. Twyakadi, who scored 95%+ to qualify for medals in traditional poetry recital (umbongo).

But trouble is brewing: the villainous Melon Rusk, obsessed with screens & upgrades, has corrupted classic tales!

Now, beloved characters are trapped in the wrong stories! W***y Wonka is wandering through Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Charlotte the Spider is spinning webs in the Chocolate factory, & Peter Rabbit is running wild through Giant Country.

Beyond the non-stop laughs, glowing portals, high-energy dances, & zany techno-zombies! This heartwarming production asks a crucial question for our time: Can real-world imagination survive in a screen-obsessed world? J
