On Wednesday 19th September we held our first Open Day for Gr RR, Gr R and Gr 1. We are so proud of how our learners are growing daily.

Celebrating Women's Day in pink💞

Our Grade 12 Tourism Studies learners recently had the incredible opportunity to experience an eco-boat cruise with Southern Cross Cruises as part of their curriculum.

Tourism is about so much more than what is learnt in the classroom. It is about experiencing the industry firsthand, understanding sustainable tourism practices, and seeing how local tourism businesses operate. For many of our learners, this was a truly memorable experience and one they may not otherwise have had the opportunity to enjoy.

The excitement, curiosity and joy on their faces reminded us why experiences like these are such an important part of education. They inspire dreams, broaden perspectives, and bring learning to life.

A heartfelt thank you to Southern Cross Cruises for partnering with us and making this valuable educational experience possible. Your generosity and support have made a lasting impact on our learners, and we are incredibly grateful.

Advance for Life Christian Academy has always been more than just a school. It is a place where children are loved, prayed for, encouraged, discipled, and given hope. For many of our learners, this school is their safe place, their family, and their opportunity for a brighter future.

Over the years, God has carried us through every challenge, often through the kindness and generosity of ordinary people who chose to help in extraordinary ways. We are deeply grateful to every parent, donor, church, business, volunteer, and supporter who has stood with us. You have helped keep the doors open, classrooms functioning, and dreams alive.

Right now, however, we are facing one of our most difficult seasons financially.

The rising costs of daily operations, utilities, maintenance, resources, salaries, and educational expenses are placing tremendous pressure on the school. Despite our best efforts, we urgently need support to continue operating and providing quality Christian education to the children entrusted to us.

We are asking our community — especially past parents and former students whose lives have been touched by AFLCA — to stand with us once again.
