Dr Miniβs academic journey reflects her deep commitment to the development of IsiXhosa as a subject, the advancement of multilingual teaching practices and lead transformation on how IsiXhosa First Additional Language is taught and assessed. Through her research, she has contributed valuably to new knowledge aimed at improving multilingual teaching practices, strengthening links with forms of assessment and advancing language education practices and African language pedagogy. Her work is rooted in the belief that language is far more than communication, it carries history, identity and worldview perspectives. As Dr Mini so powerfully states, βπ³πππππππ ππ πππ πππ πππ.β
