Somewhere between the fence and the morning rush, a little warmth is waiting. πŸ§£πŸ’š

Every winter, for one special day, our children hang scarves and blankets along the fence for those making their way to work in the early morning cold.

An annual tradition. A simple act. A powerful lesson.
Because kindness should never be seasonal.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful parents and the entire Cambridge community for the hours spent knitting, the generous contributions, and for helping us turn compassion into something people can hold onto. πŸ’š

Together, we don’t just teach kindness. We wrap it, share it and send it into the world.

Our U10 hockey girls played in a festival at Crewe today. The girls had a great afternoon of hockey and played their very best!

Results:

πŸ‘ Kingsridge A – 4–0 loss
πŸ‘ Kingsridge B – 1–0 win
πŸ‘ AW Barnes – 2–1 win

Goals were scored by: Kylie, Cialar and Tayla

We are very proud of all our girls! It was great to see how much they have improved. They are talking more on the field, staying in their positions and working well as a team.

Most importantly, the girls had a great attitude and never gave up!

Well done, girls! Keep up the great work! πŸ‘

Today, the Art Studio was alive with creativity, problem-solving and perseverance.

Grade 5 learners explored the use of important everyday tools, building confidence while developing new practical skills. The focus wasn't just on creating an artwork, but on learning, experimenting and embracing the creative process.

Mrs Del couldn't be prouder of the effort, discipline and independence displayed by these classes.

Today, process over product ruled the day.

πŸ‘ Good luck, Mrs Green! πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦

The Cambridge Primary School family is proudly cheering on Mrs Green as she represents South Africa at the Hockey Masters World Cup in the Netherlands!

Today she takes to the field for her very first World Cup match as South Africa faces Ireland. To make the occasion even more special, Mrs Green has been named in the starting line-up - meaning she has been selected as one of the players who will begin the match on the field. What an incredible honour!

Push back is at 09:00, and we know she will wear the green and gold with pride, determination and true South African spirit.

From all your learners, colleagues and the Cambridge community, we wish you the very best for your first match and for the tournament ahead.

Go, Mrs Green! Go, South Africa! πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦πŸ‘

Congratulations to our very own Courtney-Rose Pike (Grade 6) on an outstanding performance at the Rhodes University Indoor 2026 archery competition, held on 17–18 July.

After dedicating much of her school holiday to training and practice, Courtney's hard work paid off in spectacular fashion. On the opening day of the competition, she achieved two new personal best scores, both of which are now new Eastern Cape Under-13 Girls records. She also shot her first Eastern Cape Provincial qualifying score of the season. With three more qualifying scores, Courtney will earn her Eastern Cape Provincial Colours -:an incredible milestone to work towards.

Her success continued on Sunday when she set yet another record, achieving a phenomenal 282/300 in a single round. This not only earned her the gold medal, but also established a new Eastern Cape and high school record. Averaging more than 9.3 points out of 10 with every arrow, Courtney demonstrated remarkable focus, precision and consistency - qualities that define an exceptional archer.

What impresses us most is Courtney's humility and determination. Despite her incredible achievements, she remains focused on improving as she prepares for the Eastern Cape District Championships in August.

Archery is a sport that demands discipline, patience, concentration and mental resilience. Courtney's achievements are a testament to the rewards of perseverance and dedication, and she is an inspiration to her fellow learners.

We are incredibly proud of you, Courtney-Rose, and wish you every success as you continue your journey. We look forward to cheering you on at the Eastern Cape District Championships!
