It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of a beloved member of our community, Pam, who left us on Monday night.

From 2021 to 2025, Pam was a cherished face in our school Tuckshop. What began as a working relationship quickly grew into something much deeper; she came into our lives as a colleague but truly became family. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle presence touched the lives of staff, students, and parents alike in ways words cannot fully express.

Please keep Pam's family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, dear Pam. You will be deeply missed, always loved, and forever remembered.

Let’s hear it for the ultimate birthday explorer, Jecca, who just celebrated her 10th birthday in the most epic, adventurous way possible!

Instead of asking for regular presents for her 10th birthday, Jecca set out on a heartwarming mission to change the lives of local animals. Thanks to the legendary backing of our Lilyfontein school family, she crushed her goal and collected over 800kg of donations for the EL Pet Pals Food Drive!

Talk about a real-world community adventure! Jecca’s incredible haul filled our spaces with mountains of pet food & treats, cozy blankets, beds, & warm dog jerseys and brushes, leashes, collars, & essential medications!

At our school, we always encourage our students to dream big and dive into new adventures, but turning a milestone 10th birthday into a massive wave of kindness for furry friends is next-level inspiring.

We are so incredibly proud of you, Jecca! Thank you to everyone who supported her birthday quest and helped make a tangible difference. 🧡💙

Our Grade R children took experiential learning to the next level for their annual Adventure Day.

It wasn't just about the fun relays, the challenging obstacle course, or the excitement of the nature scavenger hunt - it was about watching our children embody the core values of Lilyfontein. They communicated, collaborated, and cheered each other on at every single station.
