TOMATO TROT THURSDAYS 🍅

There’s nothing quite like starting the day with a little movement, a lot of fun and plenty of Lilyfontein spirit!

Our Tomato Trot is all about getting active, enjoying the outdoors and bringing our school community together. Every Thursday, our learners have the opportunity to get moving, have fun with friends and embrace the energy that comes with being active.

Whether you’re racing, jogging or simply enjoying the trot, it’s all about taking part and having fun!

Keep moving, keep smiling and keep that Lilyfontein spirit going! 🍅

What do , , and Lilyfontein have in common?

They’re all South African brands associated with excellence, quality and trust.

This Heritage Day, we took a moment out of our busy schedules to celebrate the people behind the Lilyfontein brand — our teaching and administrative staff who work every day to make Lilyfontein a school known for excellence in education.

And there is plenty to celebrate!

We congratulate Mr Els and the entire Lilyfontein team on receiving the MEC’s Top Performing School Award and Leadership in Education Award.

These accolades recognise something our Lilyfontein community experiences every day: excellence is not just something we talk about, it is something our people work hard to deliver.

From our classrooms to our offices, fields and adventure spaces, it is the commitment of our people that makes Lilyfontein what it is.

A trusted school. A loved community.
A proudly South African brand. 🇿🇦

🏉💙🧡 LILYFONTEIN PRIDE ON THE RUGBY FIELD!

A huge congratulations to Buhle Tatsi, who is proudly representing Border at the U15 Iqawe Rugby Week! 👏🔥

Seeing our Lilyfontein learners take their talents beyond the school field and represent at provincial level is something truly special. Buhle’s achievement reflects the dedication, discipline and passion that drive our young sportsmen to reach new heights.

A special shout-out to the Lilyfontein School Dads’ Club for helping make this incredible adventure a reality! Your support, commitment and willingness to go the extra mile create opportunities for our learners to grow, thrive and chase their dreams. We are so grateful for the role you play in making these memorable experiences possible! 💙🧡

We are incredibly proud of you, Buhle! Keep tackling every opportunity with courage, determination and that unmistakable Lilyfontein spirit!

Go well, Buhle! The whole Lilyfontein family is behind you!

It’s not just a race. It’s an adventure.

The Lilyfontein Adventure Race is all about teamwork, determination, problem-solving and pushing beyond your comfort zone. Teams take on a course filled with challenges, obstacles, mud and plenty of surprises, working together to make it to the finish line.

But the real challenge isn’t simply being the fastest. It’s encouraging your teammates, overcoming obstacles together, getting back up when things get tough and discovering just how much you can achieve when you work as a team.

From the youngest Adventure Cubs to our toughest Mud Overload and Bushwacker teams, the Adventure Race brings our entire community together for one unforgettable day.

It’s muddy. It’s challenging. It’s exciting. And it’s everything Lilyfontein adventure is about.

The adventure starts long before the finish line.

Today we celebrate the people who keep Lilyfontein thriving!

We are incredibly grateful for our Grounds, Cleaning and Maintenance teams: the people who work behind the scenes to keep Lilyfontein safe, clean, cared for and running smoothly every day.

Much of what they do happens quietly, and often goes unnoticed. But we know that we simply could not be the school we are without them.

From early mornings to late afternoons, in the classrooms, on the fields and around our 35-hectare campus, their hard work makes a difference every single day.

Thank you for everything you do, and for all the hard work behind the scenes. We see it, we value it, and we appreciate you!
